As an Indian American I have to think ten times before investing a penny in India – India has betrayed expatriate Indians on all accounts
When do they need our money if they are selling India to Western oligarchs? They call us ‘idiots’ within themselves. When they need our money we are called NRIs. They sold India cheap. Indian nationalism is gone. The pride of India is compromised. Whenever I go to India, I am treated as a cow ready to be cash-milked by India Federal (Central), State and local Governments. My families and relative believe I am a pseudo American, rich and arrogant. But when they need my money they do all kinds of things to extort it from me. They threaten to steal my inheritance. They lie to take our money. They will get married to NRIs to get a green card.
The world has changed. As an Indian American I have to think ten times before investing a penny in India – India has betrayed expatriate Indians on all accounts. It does not matter what these Indian politicians say. They are paid and kept by political contributions from Indian oligarchs. They have squandered our money, good will and love for mother India. The Prime Minister and Finance Minister say come and invest in India – not only financially but also intellectually. They should survey expatriate Indian living in US for more than ten years and get a feel how we feel about India.
They give false hope of Indian Citizenship. Yes, we are waiting for their mercy!
They call our children ABCD – American Born Confused Desi . They do not realize what we think of them. They are eager to grab “stuffs” from us.
