How will Sunnis battle the new Bush plan of 20,000 more troops and fresh infusion of money to promote economic growth and job creation to promote Maliki government?

It is interesting to note that the Sunni communities are ready to take on Bush’s new plan to bring in 20,000 more troops and lots of cash to promote economic growth and job creation to promote Maliki government. First the troops will go, clean up the neighborhood and then bankers would come with bags of cash to help the communities and create jobs.
Sunnis will take the money and engage in nation building creating new jobs but insurgency will increase. The Saddam execution fiasco is fresh in the mind of people. They know they cannot speak out in front of overwhelming force but they also know Maliki government will not be able to run Iraq.
One Sunni said “you can conquer Iraq as many rulers and colonists have done before, but you cannot rule Iraq long unless you are really capable.” Capability is a very interesting word. Was Saddam capable. Probably not. Like Maliki government he was less than prudent because he was caught performing ethnic cleansing.
It will be interesting to see if money can turn Baghdad around. By the way we have question for Bush Administration – whose money is it? Where did it come from? Is it worth spraying Baghdad with raw cash from tax payers hard earned money and so high deficit?
