International pressure mounts on America to withdraw out of Iraq after cell phone leak of Saddam ‘execution’

Jan. 4, 2007

America has distanced itself from what is described as the worst manifestation of ethnic vengeance ever seen in the media. But international pressure in mounting on America. It has affected many more than the ‘Sunnis’ in the whole world. The image of America has been tarnished very badly.
The Arab leaders are telling Bush Administration to get out of Iraq fast before the civil war in Iraq escalates and engulfs the Middle East in a regional war between Shiites and Sunnis. But more pressure is coming from other directions. In India, people are disgusted. In Agra, India people of all religion ganged up to stone a bus carrying North American and European tourists. In Brazil people are voicing their anger. In Russia, although the Government is quiet, people in the café are expressing their anger. In China university students are preparing for protest marches. The Islamic countries are experiencing severe internal agitation.
The American ultra conservatives declared their alignment to Shiites and Kurds – ‘lets dump the Sunnis – these Sunnis are good for nothing’ said one right wing commentator in Fox TV channel. The image of America is badly tarnished. People are upset. The biggest problem for America is that people in the whole world especially in the developing countries including China and India may refuse to accept American goods and services.
