Person who recorded Saddam Hussein's execution on a cell phone camera was arrested but that that does not relieve Iraq's Prime Minister of illegal killing of Saddam
Sunil Khanna
Jan. 3, 2007

The issue is not who took the cell phone video of Saddam’s illegal killing by Sadr killers. The issue is the illegal nature of the killing and lack of transparency in the whole judicial process.

The person believed to have recorded Saddam Hussein's execution on a cell phone camera was arrested, an advisor to Iraq's Prime Minister said. The Iraqi Government is try to run under a cover that they will prosecute the person who took that video. As a matter of fact the person who took the video actually acted as the best journalist to uncover the nature of this Iraqi Government. The vengeance was real. The hatred was clear. You cannot run a country like Iraq with so many ethnic divisions with such hatred. Saddam was bad but is this Government any better?

The advisor to Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to the media, did not identify the person. But he said it was ‘an official who supervised the execution’ and who is ‘now under investigation’.

It is a total embarrassment to the American Administration who handed Saddam over to these people in the so-called Iraqi Government.
