It is a careless behavior of the Americans, European Union, Chinese, Russians, and the UN Security Council that has caused the terrible toll on the Kashmiri Hindus. Pakistan and the Islamic Jihadists unleashed their killing, buring and raping mechanisms in the last forty years in Kashmir. The ethnic cleansing still continues. While Americans did stop ethnic cleansing in Kosovo, they did nothing for Kashmiri Hindus.

Human rights and humanitarian law violations in Kosovo by the Serbians parallels that against Kashmiri Hindus. Indian Government could not do much because the Western nations and China allowed Pakistan and Islamic Jihadists to continue the ethnic cleansing in name of self-rule for Kashmir. The double standards of fight on terror is no where more clear than in Kashmir.

The state department of the United States has a Website : http://www.state.gov/www/global/human_rights/kosovoii/homepage.html#exe that shows how the Serbians systematically abused the Kosovar Albanians. Every element of that is present in Kashmir against the Hindu Kashmiris. The only difference is that Pakistan did it without occupying it by sending thousands of killer intruders in the name of Islamic Jihadists. If you take that American Website, then replace the name of Kosovo with Kashmir, Kosovar Albanians with Hindu Kashmiris and Serbia with Pakistan, everything match. In other words, while Americans freed the Kosovar Albanians, they overlooked the agony and human rights abuse of Kashmiri Hindus in Kashmir by Pakistan.

The physical, economic and psychological losses and the trauma is so severe on the Hindu community of Kashmir that it is irreversible. Recently EU (European Commission) came out strongly against Pakistan on the democracy in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. They asked Pakistan to stop infiltration. That just shows every one knows everything but they do nothing to stop Pakistan killing innocent, peace loving Hindu Kashmiris. The Chinese are equally responsible. They annexed Aksai Chin with the help of Pakistan and since then sided to Pakistan in the world’s nastiest ethnic cleaning ever.

The Russians to day also overlook the issue. They plan to supply Pakistan and China fighter engines. That is sad.

Kashmiri Pandits have demanded the rehabilitation of their community at the places of their present location and compensation for their physical, economic and psychological losses.

Pending a final solution to the Kashmir problem, they asked for immediate rehabilitation of the displaced members of their community, a resolution adopted today at the Conference of Kashmiri Pandits held at Kashmir Bhawan in Lajpat Nagar here said.

The present policy of dispensing doles has to stop and proper rehabilitation process has to be started. Kashmiri Pandits cannot wait indefinitely for a situation that enables them to return to their roots, a Delhi Kashmiri Samiti, release said today.
