It was an interesting start that will achieve something unbelievable. The seeds of peace and Middle East peace and prosperity started in a quiet secret meeting between the Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian National Authority President Mahmoud Abbas as they met at Olmert's residence in Jerusalem on Dec. 23.
There were no press reporters, no joint statement, no formal signatures or accords. But it was a real break through that will change the world forever. The two leaders agreed to disagree and move forward with a new peace agenda supported by the West.
Palestinian National Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is facing a real challenge in his own Government. The leaders agreed that the key to peace is the prosperity and jobs among the youth in Palestine. There should be an incentive to live for these people and not blow themselves up in the name of God.
Israel will support financial and economic reconstruction of Palestine. Palestine will slow convert into a super prosperous nation living in peace with its neighbor Israel. The seeds of hatred and hate politics will end.
