Stock market is the last place you want to be while stagflation shows its power of inverting the yield curve.

Stock market finally realizes the buzzword in economy - stagflation as Wal-Mart's below-forecast October sales dominates the market tone.

The yield curve will continue to invert as stagflation intensifies. It is defined as the relative strength in inflation compared to the strength in economy. The rate of rise of inflation outpaces the economic strengths. The rate of rise in inflation, price deflator, CPI, PPI and other derived indicators continue to scare Fed and they raise rates like crazy. At the same time weak economy pushes the long-term rates down.
