At the tail end of outsourcing boom Wipro eyeing acquisitions in India

Wipro Chairman Azim H. Premji said here on Wednesday that the company was on the lookout for strategic acquisitions in consumer care as well as in the IT sector in India to sustain its inorganic growth.

The outsourcing industry shows clear sign of collapse as American companies have automated their software processes and call centers are steadily getting replaced by the web based applications.

Indian IT body shoppers and so called call centers are in deep trouble. Their business is evaporating and will continue to do so in the coming years.
