The actions should have been taken way before and not now. The Dengu epidemic has gone beyond Government's control.

Dengu can kill millions in India because of Indian Governments delay in taking appropriate action.

The epidemic has spread across 12 states and there are many cases of inreported infection.

According to international world epidemic experts, Dengu can kill more than five million people in India if it spreads across without control.

Killer dengue mosquitoes continue to spread its tentacles in the Capital with as many as 30 fresh cases being reported from the premier health institute AIIMS alone.

According to media reports, Of the 30 new cases, four patients are from the AIIMS campus, said a government official.

Overall, till today 114 patients suffering from dengue are being treated in the hospital of which total 26 are from the AIIMS campus. Fourteen patients have left for the home after getting medical treatment, said the official.

So far 17 people have died even as the number of people suffering from the vector-borne disease has surpassed 700-mark in the city.
