New Zealand bond yeilds way higher than US bonds and the currency is at a low - a rally in NZ Dollar?

The simple rule is the yield gap creates a siphoning effect and the currency appreciates. What we are looking at is a fact that NZ bonds are yielding much higher that US bonds and NZ Dollar is very low. This provides a quantitative buy signal for NZ Dollar.

According to some analysts, the NZ Dollar can rise sharply from its two week low. NZ Dollar fell to 64.90 while the NZ bonds yielded US counterpart between 1.12 to 1.8% higher. This can bullish scenario for arbitraging trades.
