The US Stock market is showing huge divergence - a sure sign of a coming multi-year bear market.
Since 1999, Russel 2000 has ouperformed Dow every year. Now things have turned surprisingly different. Last week when Dow gained 1.5%, the Russel 2000 gained only 1%. These are the kinds of technical deterioration technical anaysts tool for before calling major bear markets.
The prospect of the economy going into recession is high. The growth prospects are low. The liquidity driven market may have already seen its best days.
The problem is worldwide. The bubble is clearly seen in emerging markets like India.
