He can do it and he will do it. People will remember him as a world leader who brought energy independence to the world. US President George Bush plans to boost the efforts for energy independence through use of alternative fuel. It seems he has set a few goals that he like to achieve before 2008. One of them is to get the world out of fossil fuel dependence. He is the best person who can do it. He understands what is needed and has the power and will to do it.
One of the thing the recent initiatives are looking at is Hydrogen as an alternative fuel. Let us face the fact that is the ultimate fuel. The combustion of Hydrogen with oxygen gives water as the end result with enormous amount of energy. There is just one problem – hydrogen explodes unlike petrol that burns. There are technologies in place that can control the explosion if Hydrogen with oxygen.
George Bush is determined to push alternative fuels – solar, wind, hydro, bio-fuels and of course Hydrogen. This leadership is what the world needs today.
