Sony must opt for replacement of all Laptop batteries - they are just hazardous

The batteries get very heated up if the laptop is turned on and left in the case for hours. Whether the Laptop is made by Dell or Lenovo - it does not matter. Sony is giving a deep thought in recalling all its batteries to Laptops.
At first Dell Laptops were found defective with these batetries. Now it is found that even Lenovo and IBM Thinkpads are showing the same effect. In extreme conditions, these blow up with a lot of heat and smoke.
Guess if you work on your laptop in a tight security environment like in airplane - what can happen if your laptop starts burning with a lot of smoke and and smell?
The worst thing is that those who are carrying these batteries does not even know that they are carrying something not normal.
