Like many others E-Loan has come out with this innovative savings schemes on the Internet. The Internet based savings accounts is yielding 5.5%. The bigger question is can it really perform and compete with banks?
The other competition comes from Net Bank, Zions and others. High yielding saving account is a favorite of the middle-class these days after the real estate bust. People are planning to go back to old days saving money slowly but surely.
The high yielding savings account and its announcement shows another sign that the economy is finally turning and people are becoming conservative.
Accoding to some think tanks, E-Loan wiull be very successful in the high yeilding savings scheme because it is just right time.
