According to some media reports, Trade Minister Mark Vaile was responding to a newspaper report Monday that India has strongly urged the Australian government to waive its ban on selling uranium to countries that refuse to sign the treaty.
"Our policy remains the same as it has been," Vaile told Australian Broadcasting Corp. radio.
