Babu Ghanta
Sep. 22, 2006

The court in Kerala ruled in favor of Coke and Pepsi but the battle against the cola companies have sust started in India and Indian consumers are avoiding the colas for a long-running pesticide scare.

The Kerala Government ban is neutralized by the court decision. The Indian Government privately have given its approval for the cola companies. But the people in India are determined to avoid the colas.

The Pepsi and Coke reps in India were jubiliant. The court decision will have far reaching effects on partial bans in schools, hospitals and other government buildings. Six other states may now lift the ban or the court decisions will follow there.
