Brazil, Russia, India and China have agreed to work together and increase meetings at multilateral forums, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Sept. 21. The countries will also increase cooperation among their representatives at international organizations to further mutual interests.

This is extremely significant. The BRIC collaboration and alliance will eventually challenge the European Union and US as controlling world bodies. EU has two of its member states as UN Security Council permanent seat holder. US hold the same. Together they hold three seats.

In BRIC, China and Russia hold the same. India and Brazil are aspiring superpowers from Asia and Americas. They are also trying to gain the UNSC status. If they do. BRIC as an alliance will control four seats while US will contrrol one and EU two.

Importantly, in twenty years, BRIC will have larget aggregate economies that US and EU combines. BRIC has three time more technical talent and enormous reserves of oil, Gas - thanks to Russia. BRIC isalso blessed with Brazil's immovative energy alternatives, China manufacturing excellence, india's service excellence and Russian Military technologies.
