Attorney Generals of California and other states dertermined to make sure HP leak scandal do not repeat again in other companies. Indictments are eminent in due course of time. The company has started cooperating after understanding what it has done to the basic structure of investment trust mechanisms of publicly traded companies in US.
Some experts saqy, HP board's actions were similar to Soviet Politbureau who wanted to keep power by hook or crook.
Today, Mark Hurd, chief executive, was linked to a controversial investigation into boardroom leaks. Criminal investigations by state and federal authorities are ongoing with HP's prestige and goodwill at stake.
It is not clear wjho will get indicted for what but HP shareholders especially the institutional investors are very nervous. HP lost close to 4.3% of the stock price today and experts say it can lose 30% very fast if things do not look better soon.
