Oracle's performance - is it a one time charmer or an effect of Peoplesoft acquisition? Oracle has a long way to go before the dark clod is out.
The management solution part of Oracle solutions have created the stunning result. Obviously the result includes results from Peoplesoft's lucrative customer base.
Larry Ellison, chief executive of Oracle says it is Oracle's gains against SAP. Experts do not agree. They say it is the void of peoplesoft. As amatter of fact the Government customers of Peoplesoft are very upset with oracle's support and development plans. As a result things can get worse very fast before any improvement with next generation of its software applications, known as Project Fusion. The experts say Oracle is starting to reap the gains from its acquisitions of the past few years, which included the purchase of application software companies PeopleSoft and Siebel Systems.
However, Oracle has not been able to successfully integrate Siebel or Peoplesoft into its mainstream development plans.
