Free and fair elections in Pakistan in 2007? Is America day dreaming?
Sonia Chopra
Sep. 15, 2006

The United States is committed to pushing for free and fair elections in Pakistan in 2007, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Richard Boucher said Sept. 15.

International think tanks believe that is the last thing that will happen. Musharraf and his supporters will win easily scoring impressive victories to continue their dictatorships.

The opposition parties are blocked from any free movement or speech. Benazir Bhutto the main opposition leader is forced to compromise for her and her husband's safety.

Free and fail election will bring Al-Queda sympathetic folks in power. And that is bad for all including India.

Pakistan is controlled by shadow ISI not the Pakistani Army. Musharraf himself may be a puppet. He is probably controlled by the 'secret society of Islamic Pakistan.''

To expect a free and fair election in Pakistan is like asking the mafia to build a church!
