Koda stakes claim in Ranchi Jharkhand may become a center for Maoists and that can be worst for India

Sep. 15, 2006

Maoists plan to move and cash in as independent MLA Koda stakes claim in Ranchi. The situation is not that great. The Munda Government fell. Congress said ''Hurrah'' for a while. And then Congress became numb as they realized Maoists will take it over sooner or later and both BJP and Congress have created their own grave yard in Jharkhand.
According to media reports, As the Arjun Munda government fell in Ranchi today and rebel independent MLA Madhu Koda met Governor Syed Sibtey Razi to stake claim to form the next government, the Congress, while savouring the end of BJP rule in Jharkhand, kept a cautious distance from the volatile alternative taking shape in the state.
Prime Minsiter Manmohan Singh knows that Maoists problem as much more serious than Jihadists for India. Jharkhand has many other problems. Insurgency to become independent is another problem that can haunt India for a while.
