The US trade deficit widened much more than expected in July to a massive $68 billion. The problem is serious. There are nop signs that open trade will make any difference any more.
The 5% widening of trade gap is very serious, say international think tanks. Imports from China set record again. Europe also gained. US imported $21 billion worth oil!
It is time for US take control of its borders, economy and the trade. America is reluctanyt to take tough stance with the countries like India and China who have artificially lowered currency level to export pople, goods and services to America.
It is time to clamp down on import of goods. It is time to abolish H1B1 visa permanently that allow India and China to export their citizens to US. These citizens never go back. many of them eventually become illegal alients and become citizens through amnesty programs.
