This time India will not allow America to overlook Pakistani terrorism and Musharraf’s hidden terror agenda

India is now adamant about making Americans realize that terror from Pakistan comes to India only because Pakistan believes Americans will just overlook the same as it has done in the past forty years. The terrorism from Pakistan started in 1960 when intruders were sent to India to battle a covert war. American in every war between India and Pakistan supported Pakistan supplying the Islamic nation with weapons and technologies.

Musharraf is the same Pakistani general who secretly intruded into India and created the ‘Kargil’ mess that ended up with another total defeat for Pakistan. US President George Bush and all Americans must realize there can be no double standard on terror. As Americans and Israelis cannot tolerate terror, Indians are no exception. Hindu lives are no less precious than Christians or Jews. Terror is terror. The definition is simple – the cowardly act of attacking innocent civilians. That is what Pakistan has specialized since independence. The country could not win a single overt war against India. Pakistan has specialized in ‘terror war’ since 1960.

According to media reports, objecting to comments made by US Asst Secretary of State Richard Boucher after the Mumbai blasts, India has said it can provide evidence on Pakistan's role in cross-border terrorism which was ‘stronger’ than what Washington had after the Sept 11 attacks.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair has said that policymakers across the world were in ‘error’ in not realising that global terrorism was already in being before September 11, including ‘in Kashmir and in Chechnya.’

But bigger question is that if Americans will listen to that. Until now Americans have decided to let India suffer to maintain its strange friendship with a terror sponsoring dictatorship Pakistan. It is time for India to stand tall and say no to Americans and Pakistanis no matter what that matters. It is time for America to change. It is time for America to discard support for terror supporting regimes once for all.
