HMT (International) Ltd will set up an Indo-Zimbabwe Technology Centre (IZTC) and an India Technology Centre in Zimbabwe for Rs 225 million (US$4.9 million.
The IZTC would be set up in Harare and ITC in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, HMT informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The Government of India would provide a grant to the Zimbabwian government in order to implement the project, thereby paving way for infrastructure development of small and medium enterprises in Zimbabwe.
An agreement has already been signed between HMT (International) Ltd and Ministry of External Affairs in this regard.
