Mush look to helpless Bush for dollar from outsourcing BPO contracts! It is India who can really offer anything in that regard!
Sudhir Chadda, Special Correspondent
September 24, 2004

Mush looks to Bush to see if can divert all the outsourcing BPO contracts going to India towards Pakistan! Soon Mush will learn a hard lesson of business! That is business is done based on perception and logical flow of capital and is not run like in Military command. Bush can never divert the American outsourcing BPO dollars towards Pakistan from India because Mush told Bush to do so. If it happens it will happen for logical business reasons. Fact of the matter is worldwide businesses do not consider Pakistan as a place for BPO outsourcing. All that Pakistan can provide for now is outsourcing of anti-Al-Queda effects. Mush will learn that India is the only power in the world that really can subcontract these BPO contracts to Pakistan. Problem is that Mush looked at Bush and said “no! I do not want those from India, I want then direct from US!” He just does not get it that US businesses really does not feel that Pakistan can deliver any of those other than some nukes based on stolen technologies from China.

But Mush made a big point and became joker of the year! Asserting "we speak better English than the Indians", Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf said that the trend of outsourcing jobs to India from the US was soon going to change.

Musharraf, who came here Wednesday for five hours to launch the Congressional Caucus on Pakistan, told a crowd of Pakistani Americans that his country was changing, its image was changing and the trend of outsourcing jobs to India should also change with that "because we speak better English than the Indians". This caused a lot of laughter in the audience in which the president also joined. He said the "new" Pakistan, which was seeking to project itself as a moderate, progressive nation where violence and fundamentalism had no place, was characterized by the rise of hope and all Pakistanis should be proud of that. He urged them to stand up for Pakistan and counter criticism, "even if it (criticism) is right" - his remarks again evoking much laughter. Musharraf also promised to build the world's tallest building in Pakistan and regretted that the country had not won a single medal at the Athens Olympics.
