Mallika has once been married, but she doesn’t want to talk about it?

Do you know that Bollywood’s bold newcomer Mallika Sherawat has once been married to a Jet Airways pilot? And what is more surprising is that the outspoken Mallika is not willing to talk about that part of her life.

There was a particular phase in Mallika Sherawat’s life about which she prefers to keep silent. This is the time of her graduation days when she was studying in Delhi University college Miranda House and also working part time as an airhostess. She was then known by her birth name, Reema Lamba.

It was in those days Mallika came to know Jet Airways pilot Captain Karan Singh Gill and married him. But the married life was perhaps not meant for Mallika and soon she decided to separate from Karan. While Karan got remarried, Mallika began chasing her dream of making it big in showbiz.

In those days Mallika also got some modeling assignments and she always introduced herself as a single woman. And that has been the way ever since.

Mahesh Bhatt , who is a mentor to Mallika, opines that the actress should tell openly about her once married life to quench the thirst of 
gossipmongers and more so because she portrays herself as an open minded and frank girl.
